Our Mission

We believe that this troubled world needs models of love and peace.
Who better than the church to be an example of God's love in action?
Yet, for some, Christian churches are not loving...they are not places of sanctuary for all.

John 13 (NKJV)
34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."

The body of Christ is challenged to love. Jesus said it was the most important commandment. Most strangers and most minorities are welcomed in our churches today. All but one kind of stranger... the seeker who happens to be homosexual. Love1another encourages churches to include all the body of Christ, including the gays, lesbians, bisexual and transgendered people. We pray that the church will again become a place of love and sanctuary to all.

In studying this issue we have discovered many pastors who believe as we do. We have published some of their writings here for your review. We pray that by sharing these pastors' thoughts in this quiet, respectful manner, there will be people of the church who can reconsider their position on homosexual Christians and our churches can be a truer example of love, peace and fellowship to the world.

We do not wish to debate Scripture interpretation or force our mission on to anyone. We pray that for those pastors in whom God has planted a seed for this change, they may be encouraged that they are not alone. We hope to provide tools for the pastors seeking to encourage their congregations towards welcoming all.
